2017 Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake
The 1st annual Amy’s Adventure Race for the Lake, held on October 14, 2017, a 5-mile/8K trail race was created to bring attention to the importance of the relationship between the protection of land and the protection of the lake’s water quality in addition to highlighting the holistic benefits of conserving our resources and providing recreation opportunities.
Thank you and congratulations to the 60 racers that braved the trail for the first ever event!
On the morning of Saturday, October 14th, racers of all ages hit the trail at Amy’s Park in North Bolton, with hand-timing by Underdog Racing. Racing for 5 miles over varied terrain in Amy’s Park and hand-timed, each age-groups winner received a laser-cut wooden medal by Adirondack Etching commemorating their victory at this first annual race. Each participant also received a commemorative wooden medal to honor their involvement in this first ever race.
After the race was completed, all participants, their supporters and friends joined us at Lakeside Lodge and Grille for a medal ceremony, raffle and celebration at in Bolton Landing.
T-shirts from Cedar Graphics are still available for purchase for $15. Limited sizes still available. Contact email@example.com for details.
