This winter, spring and fall, the LGLC’s NextGeneration Committee presented a series of “Walk & Talks” throughout our preserves that each focused on a different hands-on topic of learning. Throughout the season, we learned about water quality research at Wing Pond and throughout the Indian Brook watershed, Maple sugaring and syrup making at the Pinnacle, Bird Identification and Calls at Amy’s Park Preserve, Orienteering and Wilderness Survival the Last Great Shoreline and Tracking and Scat at Amy’s Park Preserve.

Each walk was led by someone who is an expert in their field and each was geared towards people of all ages and experience levels.

See below for a few photos from each of our presentations!
